More than ten years ago VARIO-BAU has begun with a number of joint ventures in the field of prefabricated houses in Eastern Europe. The key topics are feasibility studies and know-how transfer in production and marketing. At the moment co-operations in Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary and Croatia are under negotiations. In Greece there are continuous talks and discussions with a new partner.
Since 2006 the market in southern Tyrol (Italy) is taken care of by a representative in the new show home in Nals. One year later a co-operation was started in Udine and Milano for northern Italy and also in Switzerland with Bijou-Haus. All houses for Italy and Switzerland are manufactured in the Austrian plant and erected by VARIO-BAU field service personnel. Since February 2011, VARIO-BAU is represented on the northern Italian market with its own and newly founded subsidiary VARIO-HAUS Italia Srl.
Very important for a number of export customers is the fact that VARIO-BAU does not only deliver complete residential homes or residential areas, but also prefabricated elements like walls, ceilings or roof trusses. As these are elements of our industrial production VARIO-HAUS can offer substantial price advantages. And the transport is no problem, as trucks or large containers are just ideal for the job.
